The spicy chicken sandwich reminded me a lot of The Bird in SF - one of my go-to spicy fried chicken sandwich places. This particular Crack Shack location has planes landing and taking off every 1-2 minutes, so it's extremely loud! We scarfed down our sandwich since it was delicious, but also because of the noise from the planes! There is free parking nearby, which was nice.

Beautiful patio space! We waited about 20 minutes for our food at 1PM on a Saturday. My personal favorite was the katsu lookin, but the quality of the sandwiches was excellent across the four we ordered--firebird, katsu lookin, senor croque, and coop deville. The chicken was freshly fried and the bread was soft. The fries here are a MUST order in my opinion--they were AMAZING! Perfect seasoned, crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. There are some different self serve options for sauces: ketchup, barbeque, thousand island, ranch.

The Crack Shack is walking distance in Little Italy. But it's a few blocks away from the main area. I like the set up with a lot of outdoor seating and bar with TVs. My 5 pc tenders with sweet heat were good. But I wish they would be more crispy. Order at the counter and get a number for your order. Prices are reasonable. Cash and card accepted. Street parking only. All of the staff were nice and friendly.

Best chicken sandwiches in SD. Look for the giant chicken. The vibe and atmosphere is awesome. All the seating is outdoors (partially covered), including a pretty cool bar and bocce ball lane. You order at the counter and they bring out your tray. They have self serve soft drink machine and a sauce bar so you can try a few of unique flavors along ranch/bbq. Street parking sucks but there are a few garages sorta nearby.

The Crack Shack service fried chicken that is a little unconventional. I came here being told that it is some of the best friend chicken I'll ever have and I would agree but only kind of. They focus on a healthier fried chicken; not really what I'm looking for when I want fried chicken but it is very unique and delicious. The fries and slaw were also good. I think their biggest win here are all the unique sauces. I had a great time trying all their different sauces. I think everyone should try this place at least once. I don't think it is my type of fried chicken but it was good nonetheless.

This place is still so good! Really hits the spot! Definitely try their pineapple mustard sauce! My friend who doesn't really like mustard loved this sauce and so do I! Employees are so nice. Dog friendly. Easily accessible to go boxes. They clean up the tables quick. You can't go wrong here!

Dined here recently on a Sunday morning shortly after opening. My husband and I had a craving for their Senor Croque and we were able to satisfy it at this location. There wasn't a line and it was a short wait for food. Plenty of open seating and dog friendly. Service was good and street parking was easy to find that early.

A solid chicken burger and fries on a lunch outing! This place has a great location where after a few walks around Little Italy, you will be feeling a bit peckish and find this satisfying meal! The service was great and my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our food here. Would love to come back to experience the bar/more chicken!!
